Green Point: Rental Market Is Not Moving

If you're a buy-to-let investor, having an empty unit is the kiss of death. It can wipe out years of returns and quickly turn that 7% ROI into negative numbers. But that's not the case in Cape Town because rental property is in high demand right? Well tell it to this specuvestor who has two rental flats (one, two) in Green Point sitting empty for the last 3 months. And while the are expensive - R5 800 for a 1 bed, R7 000 for a 2 bed - I have seen worse.
