Thanks to a little varmint called inflation (let's say 6%), R750,000 in Feb 2010 money is about the same as R668,000 in Feb 2008 money.
Back in 2008 would this seller ever have imagined, in his worst nightmares, that he'd be asking (and probably not getting) R668,000 for his specuvestor pad?
I always loved the look of Mutual Place... that was until I experienced the pokey long narrow apartments within, some of which don't even have windows but "internal windows" looking into the atrium. I'm not joking, it is like being in one of those tall prison blocks you see in the movies. Except here you pay for the privilege lol
