Just came back from a few days in Hermanus. I'm not lying when I tell you that virtually every 2nd house is for sale.
Anyone out that side got more information?

Hermanus is one of those towns where everybody buys a second or holiday home in good times but when times are tough, they then flood the market with these units.
It is such a seasonal town and the buy to let fraternity dont see any money there until maybe December and January.
Now that interest rates are biting, its time to offload leading to half the town being for sale.
Plus, prices are way off there and its a matter of time before they implode.
