privateproperty.co.za sends me an email with the properties that are on show in the areas I am tracking. Usually it's one property every month or so. Today's email? Four.

That's as many people have contacted me in a month to view my property, listed with Privateproperty. Three weren't interested in buying, just wanted to moan to someone about prices, and the fourth took 2 weeks to decide they weren't interested. Please dear God let the crash not start before I've offloaded the bastard...
The American mortgage market is in turmoil. US stocks have been under siege for at least three weeks. The JSE has been battered.
I read somewhere that SA property is unaffected by gyrations in the US property market. Oh really? Lets wait and see what happens in the next 90 days when hedge fund redemptions kick in.

The estate agents and the bank's propagandist like John Loos that told everyone that its a good investment and shit doesnt happen are to blame.
